The Chain of Becoming: From Input to Destiny

Input = Thoughts = Speech = Action = Habits = Character = Destiny

Our lives are shaped not by chance, but by a series of interconnected choices and influences. The progression from Input to Destiny is a profound reminder of how seemingly small decisions can ripple outward to define our future.

Input: What we consume through media, conversations, environments, and experiences becomes the raw material for our inner world. Just as healthy food nourishes the body, positive and intentional input nourishes the mind.

Thoughts: Our inputs shape our thoughts. Repeated exposure to certain ideas or beliefs begins to influence how we perceive the world and ourselves. Thoughts are the seeds of our inner narrative.

Speech: What we think, we often speak. Our words are the audible expression of our internal world. They reveal our mindset, values, and intentions and they influence others in turn.

Action: Words lead to action. What we say often becomes what we do. Our actions are the tangible manifestation of our beliefs and priorities.

Habits: Repeated actions form habits. These are the routines and behaviors that, over time, become second nature. Habits are the architecture of our daily lives.

Character: Our habits shape our character the sum of our moral and ethical qualities. Character is who we are when no one is watching.

Destiny: Ultimately, our character determines our destiny. The life we lead, the legacy we leave, and the impact we make are all rooted in the choices we make every day starting with what we allow into our minds.

Rebuilding Faith: Feeding the Moral Compass

Everyone has a moral compass we instinctively know right from wrong. But life can be brutal. It can beat you down, and in some cases, like mine, leave you feeling discarded, broken, humiliated, and alone.  It is not that you don't know right from wrong, but that you stop caring, or are unable to care

The first truth to hold onto is this: you are not alone. Even when it feels like no one sees you or understands your pain, you are not alone.

A Faith journey, especially a rebuild, needs a strong foundation. I see Faith as the building blocks of our moral foundation.  Mine is built on timeless wisdom, rooted in writings that have guided humanity for thousands of years.  For me, that foundation is the scriptures.

Scripture feeds the moral compass. It strengthens your ability to stand for what’s right, even when it’s hard. As part of my rebuild, I read a chapter every single day. No exceptions. It’s daily nourishment for my soul fuel for growth, clarity, and the fortitude to live with integrity.

This practice of daily reading works for me. Through scripture, I’ve found comfort, direction, and a deeper understanding of who I am and who I’m becoming.

Your Input Shapes What You Attract

Applying a faith foundation to personal growth includes embracing principles like the Law of Attraction. When you begin to change your inputs releasing negativity and intentionally choosing what uplifts and empowers you shift your entire perspective. You stop seeing the world through a lens of conflict and limitation, and instead begin to notice opportunity, connection, and positivity.  You see opportunities to server and help others.

As your mindset evolves, you naturally start attracting like-minded individuals. Communication becomes easier, understanding deepens, and relationships flourish. This ripple effect can lead to a more compassionate, collaborative world.

What you feed your mind is what you project and what you project is what you attract.
