The Ripple Effect

What you think shapes what you say.
What you say drives what you do.
What you do becomes habit.
Habits form character.
Character determines destiny.

Change Your Input, Change Your Destiny

Your input—what you read, watch, listen to, and surround yourself with—shapes your thoughts. Those thoughts become your words, your actions, your habits, and ultimately, your character and destiny. By intentionally choosing input that fuels growth and learning, you’re giving your future self the best chance at success. It all starts with what you feed your mind today.

Simple Habits that Compound

Invest in Your Future Self—One Page at a Time

I’ve committed to spending at least 15 minutes a day reading a book—not for entertainment, but for growth. This isn’t about escaping into fiction or romance; it’s about diving into material that challenges you, teaches you, and helps you evolve.

When you dedicate time to learning and personal development, you’re making a powerful investment in your future. You’re equipping yourself with the tools, knowledge, and mindset needed to succeed—not just today, but for the long run.

Make time for yourself. Grow intentionally. Your future self will thank you.

My Mental Rebuild Journey: Starting with Reading

Change Your Input, Change Your Life

To transform your output—your thoughts, words, and actions—you must first change your input. In the world of computer databases, there's a well-known saying: "Garbage in, garbage out." The same principle applies to our minds.

If you constantly feed your mind with negativity, distractions, or harmful influences, it will reflect in how you speak, behave, and think. But when you intentionally choose uplifting, educational, and empowering input, your entire outlook begins to shift. Your mental rebuild starts with what you allow into your mind.

My journey to rebuild my mental health began with a simple but powerful change, first, I stopped watching the negative on all Media, this included the negative from Social Media, and replaced it with only positive.  More important is that I adjusting my reading habits. I’ve incorporated self-help books into my daily routine, making personal growth a consistent part of my life.

I started by committing to just 15 minutes of reading each day. On days when I have more time, I allow myself to read longer. And even on the busiest days, I stay disciplined and make sure to read for at least those 15 minutes. This small habit has become a cornerstone of my mental wellness journey.

A Foundational Step in My Mental Rebuild

Learning from Leaders: A Key Step in My Mental Rebuild

One of the most impactful influences on my journey has been attending events with John C. Maxwell. His teachings truly resonate with me, especially his emphasis on asking powerful questions. One question he often poses to successful individuals is:
“What book are you currently reading?”

Inspired by this, I began asking the same question—specifically to business owners, high achievers, and millionaires. Through these conversations, I curated my own personal “must-read” book list, filled with titles that have helped shape the mindset and habits of successful people.

This simple question opened the door to a wealth of wisdom and became a cornerstone of my mental rebuild.
