Lessons Learned
In Week 11, Doctors telling me to slow down. Slow progress, Slow healing... In the middle of the healing process
Day 72 - Refocusing
Tightening the fundamentals while waiting for the body to heal. The hardest part of this phase has been not knowing exactly when things will return to normal. While I wait for that timeline, I’ve decided to tighten up my diet a bit and focus on what I can control.
I can’t rush bone healing, but I can stay disciplined with nutrition.
Breakfast: Hard Boild Eggs, Yerba Mate, daily vitamins

Dinner: Protien Shake, daily vitamins

Day 74 - Slow Progress
I’m able to move a little bit more now without needing support, which feels like real progress. But I’m still healing.
This phase is teaching me to respect progress without trying to accelerate it. Dealing with a shattered bone is way different that dealing with a simple broken bone. Yes I am learning patience, the hard way as I have zero choice unless I want to push and injure myself and delay overall healing, or worse, cause permanent damage.
Breakfast: Omlet, Yerba Mate, daily vitamins

Day 76 - Not what I wanted
I got an update from the doctor. I’ve got at least another two weeks of keeping my foot elevated. It’s not exactly what I was hoping to hear. But it’s what my body needs.
Healing doesn’t follow my schedule. It follows its own.
