Lessons Learned

What I've learned for Week 3.  Lots of reflection on this process, and starting to notice my focus is better at home, with others and work.  Starting to build trust in the process.

Day 14 - Immediate vs Delayed

Over the weekend, I spent time reflecting on something that keeps coming up for me, immediate reward versus delayed reward. 

Delayed reward doesn’t feel like progress in the moment. It feels like restraint. It feels unrewarding at first.  It feels boring. 

This rebuild isn’t just about weight. It’s about retraining how I make decisions when no one is watching.

Breakfast:  2 hard boiled eggs, Yerba Mate, daily vitamins
Lunch: Chopped Grilled Chicken & Veggie, Pesto Vita. B+ 
Dinner: Handful of Pistachios , daily vitamins

Exercise:  Cardio Warm-Up & Upper Body (Increased weight)

Day 15 - Focus

This is Day 15 of My Real Rebuild. A new week and today I want to share what I’m focusing on moving forward.

This week, my focus is awareness and consistency… not perfection. Consistency with movement. Being intentional with food choices.  Pausing before reacting.  Protecting sleep or energy.

Breakfast:  2 hard boiled eggs, Yerba Mate, daily vitamins
Lunch: Grilled steak, Chopped Veggie, Vita. B+ 
Dinner: Handful of Pistachios , daily vitamins

Exercise:  Cardio Warm-Up & Mobility/Stability

Day 16 - Focus into Practice

This is Day 16 of My Real Rebuild. Yesterday I talked about what I’m focusing on this week today I want to share how I’m actually putting that into practice.

Consistency for me right now means walking even when I don’t feel like it,  not trying to do more. Stop overthinking or adding in more rules.

Lunch: Hot Links, Jalapeno stuffed Olives, Vita. B+ 
Dinner: Handful of Keto Snack Mix , daily vitamins

Exercise:  Cardio Warm-Up & Lower Body

Day 17 - Trusting the Process

This is Day 17 of My Real Rebuild. Today I want to talk about something that comes up when progress gets quiet.

You are going to ask yourself questions: Is this enough? Should I be doing more? Why don’t I feel different yet?

Nothing is wrong , this is part of it.

Lunch: Chopped Grilled veggies, Hot Link & Pesto, Vita. B+ 
Dinner: Handful of Keto Snack Mix, daily vitamins

Day 18 - Inner Shift

This is Day 18 of My Real Rebuild. Something subtle has been changing, and I want to talk about it.

I’m not judging myself the same way I used to.  I’m noticing my clothes are feeling more comfortable, Sleeping better.  I can more easily tie my shoes that 3 weeks ago.

If I don’t change how I see myself, the weight is just going to come back in another form
