Lessons Learned
What I've learned for Week 4. Having established Systems will trump willpower. What does Progress actually look like, when in middle of it, progress is showing up. Not relying on being motivated to continue this journey.
Day 21 - Still Learning
This is Day 21 of My Real Rebuild. Three weeks in, and after the weekend, I wanted to reflect on what I’m actually learning.
Weekends test systems, not willpower. This is usually the time that people quit the goals and go back to comfortable habits.
Keeping it simple. Trusting the process.
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, Yerba Mate, daily vitamins
Lunch: Grilled Chicken & veggies, Vita. B+
Dinner: Popcorn, daily vitamins
Exercise: Cardio Warm-Up & Upper Body (Increased weight)
Book: Extreme Ownership

Day 22 - Scale Didn't Move
This is Day 22 of My Real Rebuild. Today the scale didn’t move not even an ounce. There is no overcorrection, This is not an excuse to spiral out of control.
I did my workout routine, I’m properly keeping to the diet.
The win today is how I respond
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, Yerba Mate, daily vitamins
Lunch: Grilled Chicken & veggies, Asian Seasonings, Vita. B+
Dinner: Handful of Pistachios, daily vitamins
Exercise: Cardio Warm-Up & Mobility/Stability

Day 23 - Redefining Progress
After yesterday, I’ve been thinking about what progress actually looks like. The scale matters, but it’s not the whole story.
I’m starting to notice less emotional reactions, making better decisions, and not emotional decisions.
If the scale is the only thing that counts, then I’m giving one number way too much power.

Dinner: Handful of Keto Snack Mix, daily vitamins
Exercise: Cardio Warm-Up & Lower Body

Day 24 - Boring Consistency
Something interesting is happening, this is starting to feel… less exciting.
Boring doesn’t mean ineffective. It means sustainable. The winners are those that stay strong and stick to the routine.
This is what building something real feels like.

Lunch: BBQ Brisket & Cole Slaw, Vita. B+
Dinner: Handful of Keto Snack Mix, daily vitamins

Day 25 - Not Motivation
At this point, motivation isn’t the thing that’s carrying me.
What is actually carrying me, Routine and my real identity, not this cellulite exterior,
This isn’t willpower. This is self-respect.
