Lessons Learned

In Week 8, I am realizing that I am not as strong as I want to be.  Frustration has set in as I watch the scale slowly climb. I end the week by sharing the details of the accident.

Day 49 - The Quiet Part

I’m about a week into the slower, injured phase. The adrenaline is gone. The novelty is gone.  Progress is slower. Pain is still there. Exercise is paused. Nothing feels dramatic.

Staying consistent with food. Letting the body heal. Not chasing motivation. Not chasing the scale. Right now, the win is not quitting.

Breakfast:  2 hard boiled eggs, Yerba Mate, daily vitamins
Lunch: Grilled Steak & Mixed Veggie,  Vita. B+ Drink
Dinner: Protien Shake, daily vitamins

Day 51 - Adapting not Forcing

I’ve been thinking about finding a way to work out.  Nothing intense, just something… and yes – I am checking with doctors before trying or implementing anything.

Why - Not because of fat loss. Because it signals forward movement. This is not the moment to prove toughness. It’s the moment to prove patience.

Day 53 - Bit of a Struggle

Today’s a bit of a struggle, I gained weight... My body is healing. Inflammation causes fluid retention. The scale right now is measuring recovery... not fat, but my head keeps saying otherwise.

I think what’s hard right now isn’t pain, it’s the slowdown, the Pause.  So I’m going back to basics. Eat clean, Hydrate, Sleep, Heal

No optimization. No pushing. Just fundamentals.

Day 54 - The Accident

There’s something I haven’t shared about the accident... When I think about the injury now, I don’t think about the pain. I think about the fact that he’s okay.

This whole things is about being strong enough to show up when it matters.
