Day 56 - Frustration Strategy
Today I did a light upper body workout. The scale has continued to increase, and I’d be lying if I said that didn’t frustrate me...
Part of me wanted to feel like I was doing something, so I did a light upper body workout. And paying the price. My foot is throbbing a little, not major pain, but enough to remind me that healing is still happening.
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, Yerba Mate, daily vitamins
Lunch: Grilled Sausage, Keto wraps & Salad, Vita. B+ Drink
Dinner: Protien Shake, daily vitamins
Exercise: Light Upper Body
Book: Extreme Ownership
Weight: 255.2 lbs
Day 58 - Need Release
Spent some time reflecting on why I worked out this week. The scale has been slowly climbing, and being unable to do my normal activity has been frustrating. Digging into it, I realized the real reason I wanted to work out wasn’t calories. It was the release. The endorphins. The mental reset.
Have to be careful not to let frustration turn into overdoing it and causing injury or slowing down the healing process. Balance…

Day 60 - Finding Balance
So now I am trying to find balance again. Over the past couple weeks I’ve been trying to figure out what balance looks like during recovery. Healing has to stay the priority…
Yes this week I started upper body workout… This Exercise isn’t just about calories… This is for my mental health.
Right now the goal isn’t speed. It’s sustainability… Its doing what I can under the circumstance.
